Boulevard’s Waste Initiatives

Jeff Krum and Steve Mills will share some of the successful projects that they have helped develop at Boulevard Brewing Co. The seminar will look at how employee development, an entirely new company and throwing away its dumpster improved the regional brewer’s bottom line.

What do BA Members Need in Best Practices Guidance?

In 2012, the Brewers Association will undertake its first association-wide sustainability initiative, by compiling three craft brewing industry sustainability manuals. Jenn Vervier will moderate a discussion between craft brewer stakeholders and John Stier from Global Corporate Consultancy. This direct interaction will allow attendees to help steer the creative process, identify current status and identify knowledge gaps and needs. The manuals will focus on three key areas: Water/Wastewater, Energy/GHG, and Solid Waste.
