Overview
The THRIVE Workshop at the 2023 Craft Brewers Conference is a day-long experience, appropriate for owners, people leaders, human resources (HR) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practitioners, that provides an integrated dive into DEI, HR, and wellness topics for craft brewers of all sizes. Featuring guest speakers, educational seminars, hands-on workshops, networking sessions, and opportunities to earn Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) continuing education credits, the THRIVE workshop offers a range of people-focused tools to elevate small businesses.

The Brewers Association is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities.

Catherine Mattice, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
CEO and Founder | Civility Partners
Catherine Mattice, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is the founder and CEO of Civility Partners, a human resources (HR) consulting firm based in La Mesa, California. She is a Strategic HR Consultant who assists organizations in building positive cultures through HR practices. Catherine is a widely recognized thought leader, and she is passionate about employers’ responsibility to create the opportunity and environment for employees to thrive—it shows in her sheer number of conferences and publications. She has appeared on or in NPR, CNN, USA Today, Time.com, and more as an expert. She has published articles in a wide variety of venues, and was a regular contributor to Forbes.com. Catherine’s award-winning first book, BACK OFF! Your Kick-Ass Guide to Ending Bullying at Work, was hailed by international leadership authority, Ken Blanchard, as, “the most comprehensive and valuable handbook on the topic.” She’s since written two more books and is a LinkedIn Learning course author.
