Location: Colorado Convention Center
Join us at the Colorado Convention Center the evening of Monday April 8 to experience “A Brewer’s Life”: a fun and engaging experience of Colorado culture, music, performances, and some of the best breweries in Colorado providing tastings of their beers.
Urban Life @5280
In the Grand Corridor and Mile High Pre-Function Area, you will find a showcase of the gritty side of Denver’s urban lifestyle. Within this urban themed area enjoy performances from some of the best BMX stunt performers in Denver, a high energy DJ playing the top music on the charts, and break dance performances from dancers that have performed in the Red Bull Break Dance National Championship. While enjoying beer and appetizers you will experience the custom graffiti art of local artist Pat Milbery. Pat’s art may currently be seen on various buildings in downtown Denver.
The Festival Beat
In the Grand Corridor / Bellco Theater enjoy more of what Denver Brewers have to offer in a Burning Man Music Festival themed area. From décor, lighting, and costume characters you’ll get the vibe and feel of the desert festival before entering the Bellco Theater to enjoy a performance by local American Funk/Jazz band The Motet.
Lobby C will bring you on an outdoor adventure. Between Colorado State Parks, Federal Lands and Private Campgrounds, Colorado has more than 13,000 campsites for locals and visitors wanting to experience the great outdoors. This area brings the look and feel of just that. Come enjoy tunes from the unique Colorado rock band Tangled Senses, snap photos in a custom VW Camper Van photo station as well as relax in authentic camping vignettes and the Colorado wilderness ambiance while sampling a beer.
Oktoberfest Colorado Style
In Upper Lobby D you will enjoy a spin on the traditional Oktoberfest in this mountain chic lodge! The space will be lined with antlers, community picnic tables and brown leather vignettes for relaxing while enjoying La Pompe Jazz, a Denver based gypsy jazz group. And don’t forget to compete in a game of cornhole at the many stations located in this area.
It’s going to be a fun night of entertainment, appetizers and great beers! See you there!
